I'm assuming I'm not the only one who has found the first six weeks of 2015 to have been an absolute whirlwind. Between back-to-back sixty hour work weeks, a packed travel calendar, and the bitter cold that has settled over much of the country, the two weeks I spent relaxing over the holidays feel like a distant memory.
Above I've assembled a collection of little luxuries to help get us through the cold days ahead: A sweet-smelling cream to heal dry hands, a bright, graphic print to remind us of winter's bounty, and a chic dress in a cheery pattern to wear now with black tights and boots, and later with bare legs and sandals. A skein of chunky hot pink yarn for that hat you've been meaning to knit since Halloween. A bundle of Palo Santo to fill your space with a warm, smoky scent. A beautifully adorned set of heavy earthenware, a luxe fur funnel scarf, and a chapped lip remedy my sister, Anne, swears by round out the list of February survival essentials. And, if the cold is more than you can bear, a cashmere travel blanket, pillow, and sleep mask in a rich golden hue to keep you warm en route to your tropical escape.
