Lately I've been feeling a major urge to change things up in my apartment. Maybe it's the fact that a lot of the pieces in my home have seen 5 years of city dust and dirt, or that we're coming out of winter, when I was spending a lot of time trapped inside, staring at the stuff around me and slowly deciding I hate all of it. Or, maybe, if your home really is a reflection of you--what makes you happy, what makes you feel relaxed or energized or content--it should always be slightly in flux. Maybe it's okay to feel like you're beginning to outgrow it at times, that it doesn't all make sense together.
I expect most personal spaces feel like a constant work-in-progress. Even those people whose homes feel like something out of a magazine--they're still looking for that one last thing that will make the space feel perfectly harmonious. Of course, that thing probably doesn't exist, but the hunt for it is still pretty fun.
Here are some items for the home that have caught my eye recently. Maybe one of them will be just the thing you've been looking for.
