A Party-Ready Summer Playlist

One of my favorite things about summer is how excited everyone is to make plans, meet for drinks, gather for dinner, and spend more time hanging out with friends (what a relief from the solitude of winter's Netflix-fueled hibernation!). And while all you really need for a fun summer get-together is a cold bottle of wine, some tasty snacks, and a few good friends, nothing elevates a party like a really good playlist. 

Here, I've compiled some of my favorite songs for a playlist that's fitting for any and all adventures in summery entertaining. Start with some upbeat tunes as you're putting the finishing touches on dinner or cracking your first beer on the beach, build into some fun high-energy favorites to get everyone up and dancing, and wind down the night with some mellower tracks and sing-along classics. Whether you're hosting a low-key cocktail party, a beach bonfire, a picnic in the park, or a bash that will roll well into the night, these songs offer a perfect soundtrack to any party.
