Summer style in Palm Springs is defined by one thing: heat. I found that everyone to whom I mentioned I was going to Palm Springs talked about the dry heat, and how 110 degrees in the desert will still feel less oppressive than a humid, sticky 85 degree day on the east coast. But to me, even as an equator-chasing child of the sun, 110 is friggin' hot. Dry heat or otherwise.
