Montauk is the perfect weekend escape from the city's sweltering summer heat, but June out east can be a little chilly. Once July rolls around and the weather heats up, I spend most of my days by the pool or at the beach in a bathing suit and cover up while evenings feel best in breezy dresses or loose layers. Don't forget to grab a book or magazine for the train and a bottle of rosé to drink, well, any time after breakfast...
